Investment objective

The Investment Compartment’s investment objective is to achieve income and capital gains through credit risk in the medium to the long term. Its assets are mainly invested in selected corporate and government bonds, which are traded in international regulated markets, as well as in bonds of high credit risk (i.e. bonds of ‘non-investment grade’) which may not be traded in regulated markets. Return comes from achieving capital gains and increase in capital, as well as from revenue from coupons and interest. The Investment Compartment may acquire exposure to foreign currency in order to improve the expected return.

Based on the average valuation of assets per calendar quarter, the percentage of Investment Compartment assets invested in bonds, deposits and T-Bills should be within the following range:
Bonds : from 55% to 100%
Deposits and T-Bills : from 0% to 45%

Target group

The Investment Compartment aims at medium-to- long-term investors with an investment horizon over 3 years, wishing to enjoy both capital gains and periodic income by investing in a diversified portfolio consisting primarily from corporate and government bonds, T-Bills and deposits. Investors in this fund must be willing to assume a low level of investment risk.
